When the right foods are consumed, the body receives massive amounts of nutrients that get delivered to every cell in the body. What many people don’t realize is that many of these same foods offer health benefits when applied to the skin. Recently, I discovered the art of making facial masks out of food I already have in the home. The masks can be used to purify and tighten the skin. They are an affordable option to a lot of masks that are on the market today. Here are two recipes that I love. Keep in mind, when using any food on your skin, especially for purifying purposes, it should be organic, as the point is to pull out toxins, not to add them.
